A foreign legal entity with no Icelandic Id. No. may apply for a web address on the basis of a registered trade mark which is already registered with the Icelandic Patent Office. Rights to a web address become void if the Board of Appeals or an Icelandic court comes to the decision that another party than the web address holder has greater rights to that web address.
